With it?s dark and juicy red fruits, ?Crown Morello? takes the ?crown? for being the largest cooking cherry variety around, making it the must have option for pies, jams, or even wine or cherry brandy. An acidic cherry that will thrive when planted in a north facing spot in gardens, providing heavy yields from late August, it also produces lovely flowers appearing as a gorgeous tree in it?s own right. Cherry rootstocks: Gisella 5 – Dwarf reaching a mature height of up to 2m (6′,6). Gisella 6 – Semi vigorous reaching a mature height of up to 4m (13′).
