Strongly fragrant sweet pea ?Matucana? produces sensational two-tone purple and scarlet flowers, making this a real delight from June to September, blooming right through. An old heirloom variety that traces back to 1700, having been brought to Britain by a Sicilian Monk, still being sold and remains popular to this day.
