Microsorum diversifolium
This attractive Australian fern will gradually begin to grow cord-like rhizomes. These rhizomes are covered with many types of glossy green fronds. These fresh fronds will be different sizes and shapes (from quite small and simple, to more intricate and deeply lobed). However, they all have a rich green colour and a gently ruffled appearance. The creeping stems of Microsorum diversifolium will begin overflowing the pot’s edges as they continue to develop. When it’s time to pot the plants, they can either be left to trail or tucked into compost.
