Gage ‘Oullins Gage’ (Organic)

Gage ‘Oullins Gage’ (Organic) is a traditional variety that was established in France in 1856 and will produce reliable crops in most parts of the UK. In late summer, decent-sized, yellow fruits flushed with red will be ready to harvest. The fruits of ‘Oullins Gage’ are firm with sweet yellow flesh and are perfect for baking in pies if harvested early or for eating freshly picked in August. Pollination Group: 2 – Partly self-fertile but fruits better with a pollination partner. A good pollinator of other varieties.
