Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Panther’
Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Panther’ is prized for its deep, nearly black foliage, adding a dramatic presence to borders. This deciduous shrub boasts rich, dark purple leaves that are most intense when grown in full sun. The maple-like foliage provides a striking contrast to clusters of pinkish-white flowers that appear in early summer. Come autumn, the foliage takes on purple and orange shades before falling.
