Abutilon megapotamicum
This ornamental Abutilon is a real crowd pleaser. Blooming from June until November, it develops an abundance of ruby red, lantern shaped flowers. They delicately hang from arching branches and smother its compact, rounded form of fresh green foliage. A superb standard tree, your half-hardy shrub will look wonderful as a stand-alone specimen tree in a contemporary pot and would sit well in a tropical themed landscape or conservatory. It will thrive in direct sunlight and progress in height to around 150cm, along with a spread of 60cm.
