The deeply incised leaves emerge purplish-red in spring turning brilliant crimson in autumn before falling. The lacy leaves of this exceptional variety perform best in a sheltered position in partial shade.Acers are slow growing and make ideal specimens for small gardens and containers where they provide multiple seasons of interest.
