Adenium obesum Red is a stunning and unique variety of Desert Rose, featuring vibrant cerise-red flowers. Known for its distinct shrubby form, this succulent has a thick, swollen stem?its name obesum refers to this fat trunk. This swollen stem, which is actually a water-storing root above the surface, allows the plant to thrive in arid desert conditions. The stem is crowned with a cluster of glossy, spoon-shaped, leathery leaves, giving the plant a striking, tree-like appearance that draws comparisons to mythical mandrakes.
