Alisma parviflora (Marginal Aquatic)

Clumps of attractive rounded leaves patterned with prominent ridges give rise to sprays of dainty pinkish white, three-petalled flowers from June to September. Suitable for both shallow and deep water, Alisma parviflora is a pretty plant for pond margins or bog gardens. It provides a valuable habitat for insects emerging from their larval stages and as a landing pad for dragonflies. Water depth of 6-20 cm. Ultimate height: 60cm (24in). Ultimate spread: 45cm (18in).
