Amaranthus ‘Pygmy Torch’ is a compact variety which will compliment tender perennials and smaller annuals perfectly. Producing vertical, feather-like, burgundy plumes that will add texture and interest to beds and borders. The leaves are full of nutrients and can be enjoyed added to salads or as a substitute for spinach. This beautiful Amaranthus also makes an excellent fresh or dried flower in a vase display.
