Anacyclus depressus

A delightful little alpine with a mat-forming habit of ferny, grey-green foliage which looks very effective growing over walls, along the edges of Mediterranean gravel borders and colonising rockeries, as well as making a wonderful alpine container specimen. From May to July Anacyclus depressus produces an abundance of red buds which burst open to reveal classic white daisies with a yellow centre, creating a two-tone effect with the red undersides which reveal themselves fully when the blooms close in the evening. Height: 10cm (4?). Spread: 30cm (12?).
