The collection comprises: Onion ‘Akado’ (Autumn) – Ideal for autumn planting, producing heavy crops of delicious red onions with a superb sweet flavour that works equally well in salads and cooked dishes. (250g). Onion ‘Shakespeare’ (Autumn) – A very popular and reliable variety, giving heavy yields of golden-brown skinned, crisp, flavoursome bulbs. (250g). Shallot ?Griselle? – Distinctly spicy flavour and ideal for pickling as well as cooking (250g). Shallot ?Longor? – A French type producing the longest bulbs we have seen (250g). Garlic Germidour (Softneck) – Well-known and reliable, from French production that is well adapted to British conditions (2 bulbs).
