Skillfully train these clematis plants against obelisks, walls, fences, or within patio containers to ensure year-round visual interest. Clematis Duo comprises: Clematis ‘Tumaini™’ is a sure winner for small gardens, courtyards and patios as well as larger areas. Free-flowering over a long period but usefully compact, it makes the very best use of space. Clematis ‘Tumaini™’ bears an abundance of large flowers, 10-12cm in diameter, with light violet petals blushed with a dark pink bar. The flowering period is generous – the first blooms emerge in April, reaching a crescendo in May and June, followed by a smaller, second flush in September. ‘Tumaini™’ makes a fabulous, flower-packed climber for container planting. It also works equally well at the front of a mixed border, supported on an obelisk or wigwam. Height: 90-120cm (35-47in). Spread: 75cm (30in). Clematis ‘Bridgewater’- A late flowering clematis named in honour of RHS Garden Bridgewater which is renowned for its large and abundant flowers. Clematis ‘Bridgewater’ produces large, soft pink blooms that measure up to 15cm across creating a striking display from June to August and delivering a second, smaller flush in September. This free-flowering deciduous climber will thrive in a large container or border, growing over an obelisk or enhancing drab walls or fencing with suitable supports.
