Hibiscus syriacus ‘Oiseau Bleu’
Hibiscus ‘Oiseau Blue’, or otherwise known as ?Bluebird? as well, is tropical and exotic looking but in no way performs as such. These hardy shrubs are resilient and tough, while becoming decorated with an explosion of colour in late summer, continuing into autumn. Foliage breaks through in late spring, giving a nice backdrop for the drama upfront. Hibiscus ‘Oiseau Blue’ is ideal for hedging or screening at the back of borders, where it requires little maintenance and enjoys the hot sun. Height: 3m (10′). Spread: 2m (6′).
