Hydrangea serrata ‘Pink Petticoat’
As pretty as a picture, this dinky hydrangea squeezes a lot of interest into a tiny space. Reaching only around 60cm high, its dwarf proportions are ideal for the smallest garden spaces, and it makes a beautifully tidy, rounded specimen for a container. A lacecap variety, Hydrangea serrata ‘Pink Petticoat’ offers a long season of dainty pink flowers and rich autumn colour. Throughout summer, clusters of flat pink flowers encircle tiny, airy pink blooms, turning darker pink as they mature and standing out beautifully against neat mounds of dark green leaves. In autumn, further interest is provided when the foliage turns a fiery red. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
