Iris sibirica ‘Not Quite White’ (Marginal Aquatic)
An exquisitely coloured Siberian iris with ruffled white flowers washed in pale lavender with intricate lavender veining and soft yellow centres carried through May and June. Iris sibirica ‘Not Quite White’ forms spreading clumps of narrow, green, strap-like foliage that offer foliage texture throughout the season as well as providing a valuable habitat for pond creatures. Thriving in moist ground, Iris sibirica ‘Not Quite White’ can be grown in bog gardens or drier border soils that have been amended with plenty of organic matter. Ultimate height and spread: 50cm (20in).
