Lysimachia thyrsiflora (Marginal Aquatic)
Lysimachia thyrsiflora is an unusual pond marginal with upright, unbranched stems and whorled, narrow foliage that rise elegantly above the water, softening pond edges. Between June and August, it produces masses of fluffy, yellow pompom blooms. Native to limited areas in Yorkshire and Scotland, its declining wild presence makes it an excellent addition for encouraging native wildlife and preserving biodiversity. Water depth: 0-10cm. Ultimate height and spread: 60cm (24in).
