Oregano ‘Hot and Spicy’
A favourite herb of choice in Italian cooking recipes because of it?s aromatic, peppery flavour that enhances and goes well with tomatoes, cheese and red meat. Oregano ?Hot and Spicy? is a hardy perennial that is so easy to grow in your herb garden, producing aromatic foliage from spring to summer, which from mid-summer will treat you to bunches of pretty little white blooms. Easily grown in pots on the patio or in sunny spots of a herb garden. Height and spread: 45cm (18). Culinary note: Some parts of these flowers are edible. Try the sweet tasting petals on top of salads or even pancakes, crystallise them for use as cake decorations too.
