Philadelphus ‘Beauclerk’

Filling the air with its sweet, orange-blossom perfume, Philadelphus ‘Beauclerk’ is a treat for the senses. This robust but beautiful flowering shrub, makes a superb choice for partially shaded borders, adapting to most soils and tolerating dry conditions once established. In May and June, its gracefully arching branches are swathed in clusters of simple white flowers with a pink-purple tinge in the centre. Philadelphus ‘Beauclerk’ makes an excellent, low maintenance addition to shrub borders or as a backdrop to herbaceous perennials. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Ultimate height and spread: 1.5-2.5m (4.9ft to 8.2ft).
