Treated to a regular trim, it can be kept as an even tighter, smaller ball and makes a superb, disease-resistant substitute for box. Small, glossy, bright green leaves form a dense, evergreen shrub that is robust, low maintenance and rarely troubled by pests. Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Golf Ball’ can be planted into decorative containers and grown in the same way as box balls to accent architectural features.
