Prunus ‘Umineko’
An award-winning ornamental cherry with dazzling white blossom which is simply breathtaking against a blue spring sky. Prunus ‘Umineko’ forms a compact crown of ascending branches to create a columnar tree making it ideal for tighter spaces. In spring, the branches hold an abundance of buds which open to reveal umbels of large, single white blooms blushed with raspberry-pink stamens that the bees will adore. leaves will unfold as the flowers open. In autumn the deep green leaves transfom to purple, red and orange, providing another season of interest. Maximum height: 9m (27ft) Spread: 4m (12ft).
