Weigela ‘Candida’
This deciduous shrub has a strong presence because of its tall arching stems and spreading habit. Weigela ‘Candida’ is a very large cultivar that thrives when grown as a specimen shrub, with plenty of room to develop and branches that arch to the ground. The stems are covered in tubular white flowers from May to June, which are truly elegant in their simplicity. Weigela’s nectar-rich blooms are usually a hit with pollinating insects, making it an excellent choice for a wildlife area. Height and spread: 2.5m (8′).
