Caesalpinia pulcherrima – Seeds

Native to tropical America, Caesalpinia pulcherrima is a spectacular, evergreen thorny shrub or small tree with feathery pea-like leaves and showy flowers. From spring to autumn it produces long wands of exotic flowers in flaming oranges and yellows with protruding red stamens. It is suitable for growing as a containerised specimen in a conservatory/greenhouse or outdoors in a frost free, sunny position. Height: 3m (10’). Spread: 3m (10’).
