Baptisia ‘Decadence Pink Truffles’ is one of a series of exciting new hybrids that enhance the classic Baptisia australis with vibrant, intense colours, a prolonged flowering season, and a compact growth habit ideal for smaller gardens. This variety forms dense, bushy mounds of blue-green foliage, topped with striking spires of soft pink, lupin-like flowers, each reaching up to 25 cm in length. Starting in May, the blossoms open progressively from the base of the spike, reaching their peak display in late summer. After flowering, the plant produces attractive black seed pods that extend the visual interest well into the fall. Perfect for informal, cottage-style borders or prairie plantings, this perennial also attracts bees and beneficial insects, making it a fantastic choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.
