Echinacea ‘Prima Saffron’
An exciting variety that comes with glowing, saffron-orange petals set against an amber central boss. The large, eye-catching flowers measure up to 10-12cm wide, inviting closer inspection whereupon they deliver another treat – the honey-coloured flowers also come with a delicate honey scent. Unsurprisingly, Echinacea ‘Prima Saffron’ is a magnet for bees and butterflies, making it a good choice for the wildlife friendly garden. This compact variety has robust stems, giving it good wind and weather resistance and making it suitable for coastal locations. It also makes a stylish cut flower.
