Euphorbia palustris (Marginal Aquatic)
Unlike many Euphorbias, this Marsh Spurge thrives in boggy, wet soils and the shallow margins of ponds. Euphorbia palustris forms attractive, branching mounds of fresh green foliage that are capped with vibrant chartreuse flowers from late spring. From late summer this native perennial often turns to shades of yellow and orange, extending its season of interest well into autumn. Euphorbia palustris is a hardy and undemanding and holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance. A lovely choice for reliably moist borders, woodland areas, bog gardens and pond edges.
