Hellebore ‘Merlin’
This very pretty Hellebore doesn’t hide its beauty like many other cultivars – instead Hellebore ‘Merlin’ holds its flower heads aloft with outward faces showing off their exquisite dusky pink colouring. As the blooms mature, they deepen to crimson, glowing in low winter sunlight against neat mounds of rich green leaves marbled with silver. Flowering from January through to March, this Hellebore provides an uplifting display at a time when little is happening in the garden. Plant it into the front of borders where its attractive evergreen foliage continues to have a presence through the summer months or use it in seasonal container displays for a much needed winter treat.
