Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Xian’
A colour changing mop head hydrangea offering large clusters of soft pink or blue flowers that develop green and yellow tints. This compact, low maintenance shrub offers a long flowering season through July to September and is perfect for injecting late season colour into shady areas either in borders or as a focal specimen in containers. The showy blooms are held on strong, sturdy stems, standing out beautifully against rich green foliage. Skeletal seedheads persist long after the flowers have faded, providing continuous interest right through to winter. Ultimate height and spread: 1m to 1.5m (3.2ft to 4.9ft).Please note that flower colour may alter according to soil pH.
