Lychnis viscaria ‘Splendens Plena’
This low growing Lychnis makes a colourful addition to moist rockeries, bog gardens and waterside plantings. Panicles of magenta pink blooms rise upon sticky, branchless stems in early summer, above clumps of narrow, linear foliage. Lychnis viscaria ‘Splendens Plena’ is an attractive yet under-used hardy perennial which also holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance. Height: 120cm (48).
