Philotheca myoporoides

Eriostemon myoporoides blossoms and foliage have a crisp, citrus fragrance that may well be described as gin and tonic perfumed! This partially resilient shrub blooms with beautiful star-shaped flowers over a dense mound of linear evergreen foliage in the winter and spring. It’s also known as the wax flower, and florists have long loved it for its long-lasting blossoms and powerful scent. You can plant it outside all year if you keep it in a shaded spot where it won’t be exposed to cold or other harsh weather. Because it is not entirely resistant, this shrub may be kept small and is a perfect accompaniment to a conservatory where it will offer winter appeal. Height: 2m (6?). Spread: 2m (6?).
