Phormium ‘Golden Ray’
Phormium ‘Golden Ray’ is a clump-forming, evergreen perennial. Its gently arching foliage is mainly green with a pale-yellow stripe nearing the edge with a final shade of bronzy-red as the margin. This colourful specimen will bring even more during a hot summer with its tubular yellow blooms. They are wonderful when planted up in patio containers, or in borders, and looks particularly lovely when offset with gravel. It will appreciate full sun and at times some shade, and in the winter will need protecting for cold, harsh winds. If planted in containers simply move the pots to a more sheltered and protected area. Height 2m (78?) and spread 1.5m (59?).
