Symphoricarpos x doorenbosii ‘Amethyst’

A particularly tough plant that will withstand most weather conditions and provide interest when most other shrubs have past their best. Symphoricarpos x doorenbosii ‘Amethyst’ really comes to life in autumn when its stems are laden with pink-flushed berries, which will tolerate a large amount of cold before dropping the berries in late winter. Its white flowers, albeit not that showy, are hugely rich in nectar which is most attractive to bees and other pollinators. Height & Spread: 3m (10′).
