Weigela florida ‘Minor Black’ is a compact and tidy variant of the classic garden shrub Weigela florida. Its compact growth habit makes it perfect for use in containers and raised beds on patios and decks, as well as as a deciduous shrub for borders in small and medium-sized gardens. The dark purple foliage contrasts vividly with the rose-pink funnel-shaped flowers that cover the entire plant in late spring and early summer.
