Squash ‘Celebration’ F1 – Seeds
Both decorative and delicious, this prolific and well-flavoured squash makes a delightful centrepiece for celebrating harvest festivals and Halloween. Squash ‘Celebration’ bears small, acorn-type fruits weighing around 750g with an outer skin which is beautifully marbled with green, white and orange splashes, whilst the inner, pale orange flesh, is superbly sweet and nutty. The fruits are borne on compact plants which won’t take over your garden and have medium resistance to powdery mildew. Cut them into wedges, toss in olive oil and sage and bake them in the oven. The fruits develop a hardened skin and will store for up to 6 months in the right conditions. Maximum spread approximately: 150cm (60in).
